The XCo Flow Controller (XFC) increases indoor air quality (IAQ) and air changes per hour (ACH) where the occupants are as compared to conventional HVAC.
By purposefully stratifying or de-stratifying the air in a large room or building, the total volume of air being conditioned is reduced. By reducing the volume and keeping flow rates constant air changes per hour are increased (ACH).
The XCo Flow Controller also delivers the supply air (with outside air ventilation) directly to the occupants’ breathing zone in cooling and passive modes. And returns room air more effectively than conventional HVAC systems with the ability to vary high or low returns as seasons change.
The XCo Flow Controller (XFC) can offset the increased energy costs associated with COVID. Increased ventilation, increased make-up air, increased filtration frequency and UV light all increase energy usage. The proven efficiency gains provided by the XFC can offset the increased costs.
In Summary - the addition of an XCo Flow Controller system will improve the overall IAQ for employees and/or customers and save on utility bills.
